Longhorns tie Warriors 2-2

After being shut out in its first two Northern 2A matches, the Battle Mountain High School used its first two goals of the year to erase a 2-0 deficit to Whittell and tie the Warriors 2-2, this past Saturday at Tim Knight Field in Battle Mountain.

Whittell led 2-0 after the first 40 minutes of play, when Battle Mountain cut the deficit in half in the 54^th minute. The Longhorns tied the match six minutes later.

Battle Mountain travels to West Wendover on Friday and hosts the Wolverines on Saturday at noon.
