Margaret Ann Jones Leon, age 81, of Fallon, NV finished her life's journey peacefully in the arms of Jesus on August 22, 2026. She was born on August 16, 1945 in Hawthorne, NV in the little pink hospital up on the hill. She was the daughter of the late Benjamin Calvin and Arlie Juanita Lehman Jones of Fallon, NV.
She attended elementary school in Hawthorne, NV and graduated MCHS. As a teenager she enjoyed learning and working at the sewing factory as a seamstress. She enjoyed sewing for others, making clothing items and blankets, crocheting baby blankets for those in need, making ceramic vases and other beautiful items, and enjoyed crafting all kinds of neat things to sell at the craft fairs. In her spare time she enjoyed participating in events that focused on dancing, especially ballroom dancing which she took lessons at an early age. After working as a seamstress, she worked many years at Hawthorne Army Depot, name was later changed to HWAAP, as a bomb assembler. She worked many years at NAS Fallon as a civil service worker until retirement.
Margaret married Ron Leon on March 16, 1976 in Fallon, NV. They celebrated their 50th anniversary this year, March 16, 2026. She centered all of her life on caring for her family, especially her Daughter Michelle who was born with cerebral palsy, showing great resilience and strength through very hard times. On March 29, 2026, Ron had a massive heart attack and passed away, With her forever love no longer walking this life with her, she continued her journey remaining strong no matter what came her way until Jesus called her home to be reunited with her forever love and daughter.
She is survived by her Sister Joyce Reynolds, Daughter Wanda (Andrew) Smith, Son Bobby (Eileen) Fish, Son Jon (Lara) Leon 11 Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and her great faithful companion Neptune, her dog.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Husband of 50 yrs. Ron, Daughter Michelle Leon, Brother Edward (Eddie) Jones, Baby Sister Beverly Jones, Nephew Ronnie Jones and Niece Tammy Jones
While our hearts are heavy, we are choosing to celebrate a life well lived who was deeply loved by all. Her enduring legacy will have a lasting and positive impact on those who knew her.
You answered the call and gained your wings to fly among the angels. You are gone from our sight, but never from our hearts. Always and Forever, We Love You Mom!!
