Churchill County School District kindergarten students will begin the 2026-27 school year Monday, Aug. 31.
Kindergarten classes are held at Lahontan Elementary School. Families can view teacher assignments through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. Assignments will not be posted at the school.
Children must have turned 5 on or before Aug. 1 to attend kindergarten this year. Families who still need to register must provide a state-issued birth certificate, identification for the parent or guardian, proof of address, and the child’s current immunization record.
Kindergarten students will not have school Friday, Sept. 4.
