Oasis Academy Announces Back-to-School Events

Oasis Academy students will return to class Wednesday, Aug. 19, with several back-to-school events and reminders scheduled as families prepare for the new school year.

Back-to-School Night will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 17. Students in kindergarten through 10th grade can meet their teachers and pick up their binders.

Kindergarten Practice Day is scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 18. Parents will receive additional information by email. The first day of school for students in kindergarten through 10th grade is Wednesday, Aug. 19. Families are reminded to return back-to-school paperwork during the first week of classes.

School supply lists for students in kindergarten through 10th grade are available on the Oasis Academy website. Summer reading information also remains available through the school website.

The Oasis Academy Uniform Store will operate during the school year from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Friends of Oasis Academy is selling semester Pizza Passes and KFC Passes to support Field Day. Families may purchase a semester Pizza Pass, gluten-free Pizza Pass, or donate a Pizza Pass. Pizza coupons also will be available at the front office or Uniform Store.

Oasis Academy also is seeking substitute teachers. Employment information is available through the school.

The 7th Annual Oasis Academy Golf Tournament is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 17. Registration, donation, and sponsorship information is available online or by contacting Angela Viera at 775-666-0912.
