The Churchill County School District will host a Family Resource Night on Wednesday, Aug. 12, to help families prepare for the 2026-27 school year.
The event will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at The Pit at the district office, 690 S. Maine St.
Families can meet Superintendent Blake Cooper, ask questions, complete registrations, and learn about programs and services available to students.
District staff will be available to assist with kindergarten registration, prekindergarten applications, transportation registration, health services, English Language Learner (ELL) services, Indian Education (Title VI) services and Student Intervention Team (SIT) services.
Staff also will share information about new digital tools and other resources available for the upcoming school year.
The event is open to all Churchill County School District families preparing for the 2026-27 school year.
