Fallon Indivisible will host a public presentation on the impacts of data centers in Northern Nevada at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, at the Wolf Center at Epworth United Methodist Church, 280 E. Stillwater Ave.
The presentation will be given by Erik Henzl, a staff research scientist at the Desert Research Institute, who has studied data center development and its impacts in Northern Nevada. Henzl will discuss how data centers operate and their potential effects on the region, followed by an opportunity for questions and discussion.
The event is free and open to the public.
