Dianna (Mercer) Osterhoudt passed away July 25 in her hometown of Fallon, Nevada, at the age of 84 after a long battle with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).
Dianna was born alongside her twin brother, Dennis, in San Bernardino, California, to Joe and Anne Mercer on Oct. 22, 1941. After moving to locations like Paradise, California, and Lovelock, Nevada, the family settled in Fallon, Nevada, the town she always called home.
After graduating high school, Dianna attended beautician college in Reno, then married Edward "Pard" Cline. Together, they had two daughters, Kelli and Heidi. In 2006, Dianna married Ralph "Terry" Osterhoudt and resided in both Fallon and Las Vegas.
Dianna was preceded in death by her daughter, Kelli (Cline) LeRoux; grandson Travis LeRoux; her brother, Dennis Mercer; and her parents, Joe and Anne Mercer. She is survived by her daughter, Heidi Bourdeau, and son-in-law, Ed Bourdeau; her grandchildren, Montana LeRoux and wife Kasie, Wesley LeRoux and wife Alisa, Kale Bourdeau and wife Jessica Lopez, and Jessie Bourdeau; and great-grandchildren Katherine, Juliette, Victoria, Jaelyn, Travis, Beau, Waylon, Wade, and Walter.
Dianna was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be dearly missed.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, Aug. 4, at 10 a.m. at Fallon Cemetery.
