Family, friends and community members gathered July 18 as the Fallon Chamber of Commerce welcomed Ryze Print and Design to the local business community with a ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating owner Shay Flick's new business.
Fallon Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Lucy Carnahan hosted the ceremony, recognizing the opening of the print shop, which offers a wide range of printing services for businesses, organizations and individuals.
Ryze Print and Design produces business cards, flyers, invitations, greeting cards, raffle tickets, banners, posters, booklets, brochures, blueprints, large-format prints, programs, fine art prints, NCR (no-carbon-required) forms, custom stamps, and other printed materials. Flick said her goal is to provide customers with quality products and quick service.
Among Flick's favorite projects was transforming an 8-by-10 wedding photograph into a life-sized cardboard cutout that was presented to the couple as a gift.
The business's phoenix logo reflects Flick's personal journey. She said the symbol represents overcoming life's challenges and starting anew. Remodeling the building from the ground up tested her resolve, and there were times she considered giving up. Today, she said she is proud of what she has accomplished and excited to welcome customers to Ryze Print and Design.
