Banner Churchill Community Hospital marked its 30th anniversary July 2, celebrating three decades of providing health care to Fallon and surrounding communities.
The hospital opened in 1996 and has grown from a community hospital into a regional health care provider serving Churchill County and neighboring areas. Today, the 25-bed hospital employs more than 300 people and includes more than 40 physicians and allied health professionals. Services include emergency care, ambulance coverage, primary and specialty care, surgery, imaging, laboratory services, and rehabilitation.
In a social media post recognizing the milestone, Banner Churchill thanked employees, providers, volunteers, and the community for supporting the hospital throughout the past 30 years.
"For 30 years, Banner Churchill Community Hospital has been proud to serve Fallon and the surrounding communities with compassionate, high-quality care," the hospital wrote.
The hospital continues to expand health care services for residents of Churchill County and the surrounding region while remaining one of the area's largest employers.
