Great Basin Trading Company, 31 South Maine Street, is pleased to announce a special book signing event featuring George Albert Morrow, the author of “The Journey,” and Brynn Turner, the illustrator of the same book. The event will take place on Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.Attendees may purchase copies of “The Journey” at the event for signing or bring their own copies.
“The Journey” originated as a children’s story written by George Albert Morrow, who spent many years sharing it with his family during their travels to help pass the time. Brynn Turner brought the story’s characters to life through her artwork, ultimately capturing the essence of the main character, a marmot.
Keller’s Cottage Kitchen, a Fallon-based baker known for her sourdough goods, will also host a pop-up at the signing, with a selection of fresh-baked items available for purchase.
