To Diane's family - I am shocked to see this lovely woman has passed away. I know she has gone through a lot over the past few years. I was her Poshmark friend. We would converse frequently about updates to the site and our beloved kitties! I last heard from her at Christmas when she sent me a card. I wish I had sent one to her. I sent her an email in January but never heard back. I will miss her, she was a beautiful soul and wish I had met her in person. At least there is no more pain. Rest in peace my friend. Dear Mark, Lisa & family Our sincere sympathy in your loss. Enjoyed growing up with Diane as we lived within 20 miles of each other. A number of us 1st cousins ( Krys Friewald, Kathy Stewart, Judy Bergh - all now 80 yrs old) lived close & got to play together frequently- precious times👍 Also enjoyed our time with Mark & Diane in San Diego in (I think) the mid 1980's) when my dad John was with us. Hoping the memories & the service tomorrow brings comfort as you deal with your loss. With all our love Arlene & Ron

The memories remain of a soft-spoken, seemingly unassuming but determined individual who absolutely knew what path she wanted to take in life, and followed it. Her instinctive reactions, which highlighted her steadfast level of love and caring for her family, friends and all living things found in nature, hold lessons for us all. An unexpected splash of her self-deprecating humor, coupled with uncanny timing, will always bring a smile. For me, Marie lives on in the sighting of a Black-crowned night heron in the tules, the bloom of a beautiful spring flower and, most poetically, in the struggle of wildlife photographers handling their very large camera lenses.
