Patricia J. Lindell

Patricia J. Lindell

Patricia J. Lindell, a former resident of Fallon, died in Elk Grove, California on December 4, 2025. She was 91 years old.

Patricia was born in 1934 in Ventura, California to Nancy Sem and Harry (Soo Hoo) Bock. In her youth, she enjoyed grunion hunting and watching westerns at the theater with her family. Patricia lived in Ventura until she married George Lindell, at which point the newlyweds moved to Vandenberg AFB. After the birth of their child and becoming caregivers to Pat’s parents, they moved to Lompoc, California, where she opened Lindell’s Gifts on South H Street.

In the 1990s Pat and George moved to Fallon, Nevada, along with Pat’s sister and brother-in-law. They made many friends in town and enjoyed fellowship at the Country Church. Pat moved in with her daughter and son-in-law in Elk Grove, California after the rest of her family in Fallon predeceased her.

An avid crafter, Patricia enjoyed knitting, beadwork, sewing, and flower arranging. She had a green thumb and raised orchids and other flowering plants. She was an animal lover with a special place in her heart for dogs.

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband George, sister Virginia and brother-in-law Frank Blackburn, nephew Steven Hotchkiss, and nephew-in-law Gary Andrews. She is survived by her daughter Pamela (Bill Griffin), niece Linda Hotchkiss Andrews, nephew Ron Hotchkiss (Cindy Beecher), grand-nieces and nephews Daniel Boulter, Brian Boulter, Jeffrey Andrews, Andrea Hotchkiss, Gail Hotchkiss, Nicole Hotchkiss, and Veronica Hotchkiss, and great-grand niece Alana Hotchkiss.

Donations in her memory may be made to any local animal rescue organization.
