Churchill County High School students are taking steps to enroll in the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program at Western Nevada College, supported by the school’s Work-Based Learning (WBL) grant. The program provides hands-on training in patient care, safety, and medical communication, preparing students to take the CNA certification exam in Nevada.
This opportunity allows students to gain real healthcare experience, enter the workforce quickly, and build a pathway toward advanced careers such as LPN or RN. The WBL grant covers tuition and required materials, helping students access high-demand career training at no cost.
