D50 Custom Design’s second annual Christmas Tree Lot, set up by owners Rusty and Dan Diaz at Louie’s ACE Home Center, saw a fantastic turnout during its opening weekend, November 28 through 30, 2025. Families from all around Fallon flocked to pick out their perfect tree, including newcomers Mustfa and Tierra Anderson and their children, who were thrilled to purchase a Douglas Fir.
The event isn’t just about bringing holiday cheer—it also supports local youth organizations. On opening day, members of the Churchill County High School Swim Team helped prepare trees and assist customers with loading. The Oasis Grad Night Committee stepped in over the weekend, and more help is scheduled for the weekends ahead: December 6 and 7 with the CCHS FFA, and December 13 and 14 with Oasis Grad Night. Each group receives a percentage of the proceeds to bolster their programs, making this tree lot a win-win for the community and its youth.
