Churchill County High School seniors visited Truckee Meadows Community College to explore possible post-graduation career pathways. Students toured the Edison Way and Dandini Boulevard campuses, getting a firsthand look at programs including automotive/diesel, welding, HVAC, architecture, IT, and manufacturing.
The visiting students are enrolled in the Nevada Promise program, which can cover up to three years of community college tuition. The tour proved especially inspiring when they met two CCHS graduates now thriving in TMCC’s HVAC program—a great motivator for students considering a career in the trades.
