Stockman’s Casino begins local remodel

Stockman’s Casino and Restaurant in Fallon is getting a fresh new look. Co-owners Michael Gaughan and David Ross, along with General Manager Lou Capone, said they are committed to improving the property while keeping business local by hiring area contractors for the renovations.
One of the first upgrades tackled the heating and cooling system. Just In Time Heating and Air won the contract, and after new units were installed, crews uncovered a significant electrical issue. Working with Dool Power, the team corrected the problem to keep the project on track.
For the cosmetic side, Oasis Painting and Handyman, owned by husband-and-wife team Chad and Tabbitha Claggett, took on the job of brightening Stockman’s interior entrances, casino floor and bathrooms.
“The biggest challenge was painting during off hours so we didn’t interrupt customers,” Chad said. “We’ve worked some crazy hours, but the goal was to make the building fresh, bright and welcoming.”
The Claggetts’ work accents the property’s wood décor while giving the interior a brighter, cleaner feel.
More renovations are planned in the months ahead as Stockman’s continues its commitment to reinvest in the property and the Fallon community. Guests are invited to stop by, check out the changes and, as the owners put it, “pardon our dust—improvements are in progress.”
