Louie’s ACE Home Center unveiled its remodeled store with a grand opening and customer appreciation day Sept. 6. Employees cooked lunch while demonstrating products available at the store, including a fast-cook pizza oven, a large grill, a Big Green Egg grill and a Soda Stream machine. The store moved to its current location at 1855 W. Williams Ave. in 2002. After a customer teased that the new Dayton store looked better, general manager Matt Louie said they reached out to ACE Hardware corporate partners, who completed the remodel in just five weeks. Inside, shoppers will find an expanded tool section and more pet food options. Louie’s ACE Home Center opened in Fallon in 1989 and has 55 employees.
