Walmart Postpones Grand Reopening

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the planned Walmart grand opening and ribbon cutting scheduled for Sat., Sept. 6, was postponed. Vendors were still on hand as the store celebrated Customer and Associate Appreciation Day. Tony the Tiger joined the fun, taking photos with shoppers and even the police department.

Walmart extended thanks to the Churchill County High School band, ROTC program, volunteers, and the Fallon community for their support and understanding. A new date for the ribbon cutting will be announced later.
