Welcome Back to Oasis students and families

Oasis Academy is thrilled to start the 2019-20 school year.  We are starting the year off on a high note, as our preliminary student performance data for last spring looks FANTASTIC!  Our students made so much growth, and we are confident that trend will continue. This year we are excited to be offering a variety of electives in middle school, including drama, art, choir, Spanish, Junior FFA, We the People, yearbook, P.E., Lego robotics, and band.  We will also be offering band in the high school for the first time!  Sophomores will also dip their feet into college life by taking computer science at WNC this year. Back to school night will be Wednesday, August 14, at 5:30.  This is a chance to meet new staff, learn about new initiatives,  meet your child's teacher, drop off your school supplies, and pick up all your back to school paperwork.  We also have Kindergarten practice day on Thursday, August 15 from 9:00-12:00.  This give our kinder friends a chance to see the school, eat in the lunchroom, and feel more comfortable come August 19th.  Our parent engagement committee will be doing a "BOO-HOO and Bagels" for the kinder parents at the same time.
