Movies & More

Hello, friends and supporters. The Fallon Theatre continues to thrive thanks to the incredible support of our community. If you haven’t already, please consider joining our Sustaining Membership program to help keep the magic of film, music and live performance alive right here in Fallon.

Our Annual Sustaining Membership Meeting is just around the corner—Tuesday, April 30 at 6 p.m.—and we invite all current and prospective members to attend. We’ll reflect on the past year, set some exciting goals for the future, enjoy a slice of cake and hold a raffle for attending members (must be present to win).

This Friday and Saturday at 6 p.m., we’re showing "Inside Out" (2015), a heartfelt and imaginative animated film from Pixar that explores the emotions inside a young girl’s mind as she navigates a big move. Sponsored by the Pinwheels for Prevention program, this special movie night is free for families and kids of all ages. The film is rated PG and runs 1 hour, 35 minutes.

Also this weekend, don’t miss the Performing Arts of Churchill County as they bring their musical production of "Pump Boys and Dinettes" to the Fallon Theatre’s historic vaudeville stage. Performances are Friday at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. This toe-tapping, high-energy show set in a gas station diner is sure to be a hit. Tickets are $15 and available at paccnv.org.

On May 2 and 3, we’re excited to host a special weekend event featuring "The Chronicles of Narnia," sponsored by Victory Baptist Church. The 6 p.m. screenings will offer a unique 4D experience, complete with added sensory elements like vibrations, scent and mist—perfect for an immersive adventure. The 7 p.m. showings will feature the standard film format. All showings are free, and a seat reservation link can be found on our website.

Also in May, don’t miss "Head Over Feet," a tribute band celebrating the music of Alanis Morissette, performing live on Monday, May 5 at 7 p.m. With a passion for authenticity and a knack for delivering unforgettable shows, "Head Over Feet" invites audiences to relive the magic of Alanis Morissette’s iconic sound in every captivating performance. Tickets are $15 at the door.

On May 17 at 7 p.m., we’re thrilled to welcome River Rogue back to the Fallon Theatre stage. This dynamic cover band, made up of talented musicians from Schurz, Fallon and Carson City, brings an electric mix of country, rock and blues that’ll have you tapping your toes all night long. This concert is free to attend, so bring your friends and come and enjoy a fantastic night of live music!

Looking further ahead, mark your calendars for our Fundraising Show & Shine on Saturday, Sept. 27 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. This fun and free community car show is open to the public. Interested participants can find the signup link on our website.

As always, both our auditorium and marquee are available for rentals. Contact us at 775-423-6210 or email [email protected] to book your next message or event.

From the editor: This is a very good question and we apologize for not catching that wasn't in there. We reached out to the writer/submitter and got this info back...hope it's helpful. PBM: Pharmacy Benefit Managers are pharmacies that are owned by insurance companies. (CVS is one.) They negotiate with drug makers to get reduced pricing for medications, but they historically have not passed along those savings to patients. https://www.ftc.gov/system/files/ftc_gov/pdf/pharmacy-benefit-managers-staff-report.pdf MFN: Most Favored Nation pricing is a policy that means a country agrees to offer the same trade concessions (like tariffs or price reductions) to all member nations of the World Trade Organization (WTO). When applied to pharmaceuticals, it could disrupt global access, deter innovation, and obscure the deeper systemic issues in American health care. https://petrieflom.law.harvard.edu/2025/05/22/the-global-risks-of-americas-most-favored-nation-drug-pricing-policy/Comment publication date: 6/23/25, 7:47 AMComment source: L E T T E R TO THE EDITORComment author: Debra J RidenourComment text: So sorry for your loss.
