Class Reunions scheduled around Community Reunion
The organizers from several former CCHS graduating classes have scheduled their class reunions to coincide with the 8th Annual Community Reunion held this coming weekend, August 16 - 18. CCHS Class of 1979 Plans 40th Reunion Dinner Friday night August 16th with cocktails starting at 6pm and dinner at 7pm. Churchill County Museum. Dinner is $25.00 per person, payable online with VENMO@michele-berney or mail check payable to Debbie Workman @ 120 N. Bailey St. Fallon, NV. 89406. This event is in conjunction with the All Classes Reunion on Saturday Aug. 17th at Oats Park with a concert in the Park. We will have a tent and more food so bring your Lawn chairs and enjoy the evening. We are also going to do some of the fund events Saturday afternoon, such as check out Frey Ranch winery and distillery, with tasting and a tour. Check out www.cityoffallon.com web page for more details on the All Classes Reunion events.   CCHS Class of 1964 Plans 55th Reunion The class of 1964 from Churchill County High School is having a 55th reunion gathering on Fri., Aug. 16 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Maine Street Café, 810 S. Maine St., Fallon, NV. Reservations/checks should be sent by July 20 to Lynn Bryant Biggs, c/o J&L Trailer Sales, 5030 Reno Hwy, Fallon, NV 89406. Comment author: Claude EzzellComment text: Paul was one of the most manifest men I have ever met. He was a good friends with my Dad and always had an entertaining story for the occasion. One of my most favorite stories Paul told dated back to the late 60s or early 70s and it revolved around him killing a deer way out in the mountains. Naturally the deer ran down into a deep canyon and died. Knowing that it would take him forever to haul it out he devised an awesome plan. After preparing the deer he drove back to NAS Fallon and rustled up a SAR crew and they flew out and picked up the deer. Of course it was labeled as a training flight but what the hell in those days you could do that sort of thing.
