Logos' Got Talent

Logos' Got Talent

The 7th Annual Logos Talent Show was a tremendous success. The talent displayed by our students was truly remarkable. The audience enjoyed a variety of acts, including comedy, dancing, karate, skateboarding, dog tricks, and singing, all hosted by the best MCs one could ask for, complete with sequined jackets and witty banter.

One highlight of the evening was the performance by three dancing dinosaurs, which had the audience in stitches. Maddie, Rachel, and Zoey delivered an impressive dance routine, showcasing their amazing moves despite the challenges of performing in inflatable dino suits.

A particularly touching moment was when one of our new students, Rose, sang "Big Enough" by The Clark Family. Rose is a delightfully quiet student and somewhat shy, but when she started singing, you could see her bloom on stage. Her song choice was superb, and her voice was breathtakingly beautiful. Honestly, there wasn't a dry eye in the house.

We extend a special thank you to The Fallon Theatre for allowing us to host this incredible event in their gorgeous, historically preserved venue. Their volunteers were invaluable. The beautiful setting and UPLIFT parent volunteer group's commitment to excellence created a truly unique and joyful evening.

To everyone involved, thank you for your hard work and dedication. Without you, this event would not have been possible. And to our talented student performers: Wow... Just wow!

Don't forget that enrollment is currently open at Logos Christian Academy. "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change." James 1:17

We reached out to the writer/submitter and got this info back...hope it's helpful. PBM: Pharmacy Benefit Managers are pharmacies that are owned by insurance companies. (CVS is one.) They negotiate with drug makers to get reduced pricing for medications, but they historically have not passed along those savings to patients. https://www.ftc.gov/system/files/ftc_gov/pdf/pharmacy-benefit-managers-staff-report.pdf MFN: Most Favored Nation pricing is a policy that means a country agrees to offer the same trade concessions (like tariffs or price reductions) to all member nations of the World Trade Organization (WTO). When applied to pharmaceuticals, it could disrupt global access, deter innovation, and obscure the deeper systemic issues in American health care. https://petrieflom.law.harvard.edu/2025/05/22/the-global-risks-of-americas-most-favored-nation-drug-pricing-policy/Comment publication date: 6/23/25, 7:47 AMComment source: L E T T E R TO THE EDITOR
