3C Gets Ready to Rumble
NIAA Wrestling Event Feb. 7-8 Expected to Draw Over 2,000 Attendees

The Rafter 3C Arena is gearing up for the NIAA State Wrestling Championships on Feb. 7-8. The two-day event is expected to host 504 wrestlers and draw more than 2,000 people as families cheer on their student-athletes.

According to Jesse Segura, Rafter 3C Events Complex operation deputy, the 2A, 3A, and 5A Divisions, along with the Nevada Girls Wrestling Division, will compete. The Nevada 4A Division state championships will be held at Western High School in Las Vegas, as there are no 4A teams in Northern Nevada.

Not only will top-performing high school wrestlers have an opportunity to test their skills, but Fallon restaurants, hotels, and merchants can expect to see a substantial boost in business during the traditionally slower post-holiday season.

Wrestling fans, don't forget the Greenwave Rural Rumble Wrestling Tournament is also coming to 3C on Jan. 24-26. For more information, contact the Rafter 3C Arena at 775-423-7733 or visit rafter3carena.org.

You are forever in our hearts, and I can say I feel blessed that I was able to know you! Who and what they REALLY were. Because they were devotional and IMPORTANT to the humans they connected with. The content of their life bled so that others could feel their own life’s importance. Teachers of justifiable life and art. That all can absorb and use as the best fertilizer for THEIR lives. Giving the silent secrets and the loud guidance. The Melon Man was a perfect specimen for how to devote. His passing meant a life book of feeling/knowing what gives other humans their paths to Love and Knowledge. Some humans are meant to show others their paths. And in that they secrete ways to profitably exist.Comment publication date: 3/18/26, 4:50 PMComment source: In memorium -- The Melon Man
