Veritas Preparatory School - Classical & Christian

Veritas Preparatory School kicked off the final week of school before Christmas break with an amazing Advent Breakfast hosted by teachers and parent volunteers.  Throughout the week, the school held daily chapels presenting the story of Advent from different perspectives.  Students learned about the shepherds, the wise men, and Mary and Joseph.  They were even treated to a special performance of “Mary Did You Know” from local artist Annabelle.

On Thursday, the 3rd - 6th graders dressed as shepherds and held a “Shepherd’s Feast” where they ate “under the stars” like the shepherds who first received the good news of Jesus’ birth long ago.  The school then followed an “angel” to find Joseph, Mary, and baby Jesus at a nearby stable, where there was much rejoicing. Students ended the week with a carol sing-along with families and friends in attendance.

Veritas is looking forward to a year of learning, growth, and Christ-centered teaching in 2025.

A cost analysis should be created so we can see what is reasonable cost for that pasture. 3.the tenants of that pasture Have not changed for years .I think they need to open it up for all eligible applicants in Churchill County!Comment publication date: 4/23/26, 9:25 AMComment source: Ranchers Push Back as NDOW Nearly Doubles Carson Pasture Grazing FeesComment author: David KittleComment text: I praise the Lord that you are now in your heavenly home and no longer in pain. We are deeply saddened by the loss of Sophie. We still remember her from your visit to Edmonton when Sophie was just a little girl. I can still see her standing on the sidewalk beside your car and waving madly with a big smile as if she’d always known us and we were now best friends. We are so thankful to know a deep faith runs through your family and you know that Sophie is freed from her pain and is at home with her Lord and Saviour. May God grant all of you the peace and comfort that only God can give during this time of grief.Comment publication date: 4/20/26, 4:05 PMComment source: Sophia Katherine BehimerComment author: ThughesComment text: Thanks to all who came and stood up !
