Community Survey on Art and Tourism

The University of Nevada Center for Economic Development has launched a Resident Sentiment Survey for the Nevada Department of Tourism and Cultural Affairs.  This survey is live and available online at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/2024NVRSS and will close on January 24, 2025 at 11:45pm.

The survey has been designed to gather perspectives and opinions from Nevada residents on tourism, the arts, and culture in their community.  The team at UCED is working to make sure there is strong representation from each community across the state, with a special effort to encourage rural community members to respond. Please feel free to share the link and encourage friends to respond.

The survey will take roughly ten minutes to complete and is designed to gather a wide variety of perspectives and opinions from Nevada-based residents regarding tourism, the arts, and culture in their community.

Once completed, the information will be used to help decision makers at the Department of Tourism and Cultural Affairs make decisions for where they will make financial investments. The information will help the department as well as its many partners throughout Nevada in the state’s tourism and hospitality industry as they make decisions on resource allocations.

Tourism is Nevada’s single largest industry sector, and includes the development of arts and culture resources, including museums, programs, and projects designed to preserve and promote the unique cultural heritage of communities across the state.
