General Election – Important Dates

The General Election will be held on November 5, 2024. Sample ballots will be mailed to all active registered voters on Oct 1, and mail-in ballots will go out on Oct 7.       

Mail Ballots & Early Voting 

With the passage of Assembly Bill 321 during the 2021 Legislative Session, all registered voters will receive a ballot by mail. If you wish to vote by mail and the state has your correct address, you do not need to do anything. To confirm or update your voter registration, please visit the Nevada Secretary of State’s website. 

Early voting for the General Election begins Oct 19 and runs through Nov 1 at two locations in Churchill County:  

Churchill County Commissioner Chambers 
155 N. Taylor St., in Fallon 

Saturday, Oct 19
10 a.m. - 4 p.m. 

Monday, Oct 21 – Friday, Oct 25
8 a.m. - 6 p.m. 

Saturday, Oct 26
10 a.m. - 4 p.m. 

Monday, Oct 28 - Friday, Nov 1
8 a.m. - 6 p.m. 

Fallon Paiute-Shoshone Community Learning Center

Churchill County’s official ballot drop box locations are: 

  • Clerk/Treasurer’s Office at 155 N. Taylor Street, Suite 110, Fallon, Nevada 
  • City of Fallon Clerk’s Office at 55 W. Williams Ave., Fallon, Nevada 
  • Fallon Paiute-Shoshone Tribe Administration Office at 565 Rio Vista West, Fallon, Nevada  

General Election Day 

Polls will be open at two locations on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. 

  • Fallon Convention Center, 100 Campus Way, Fallon, Nevada 
  • Fallon Paiute Shoshone Community Learning Center, 8955 Mission Rd, Fallon, Nevada
