With the 2024 Cantaloupe Festival and Country Fair rapidly approaching, festival organizers would like to extend a special thank you to sponsors Marshall’s Septic Care, Valley Distributors, and Out West Buildings.

Cantaloupe Festival Executive Director Adrienne Snow emphasized the importance of behind-the-scenes efforts at Nevada’s premier agricultural event. While it may not be glamorous to consider the logistics of accommodating the septic needs of over 20,000 visitors, having a top-notch provider is crucial. Marshall’s Septic Care, a family-owned and operated Northern Nevada business, is committed to being the region's premier septic care provider. They play an integral role in ensuring the festival runs smoothly, taking excellent care of the event’s sanitation needs.

Valley Distributors is also a valued sponsor, having served Fallon for over 50 years. They provide beer, wine, and spirits for the festival, and organizers sincerely thank them for their continued support.

Fallon’s Out West Buildings is another dedicated sponsor, offering a selection of quality buildings constructed to the highest industry standards. Like all sponsors, their support is vital to the festival’s success.

Without sponsors like these, the Cantaloupe Festival could not have evolved into the first-class event it is today. “All are amazing,” said Snow, expressing her deep appreciation for these sponsors and their contributions to the festival's success.

We reached out to the writer/submitter and got this info back...hope it's helpful. PBM: Pharmacy Benefit Managers are pharmacies that are owned by insurance companies. (CVS is one.) They negotiate with drug makers to get reduced pricing for medications, but they historically have not passed along those savings to patients. https://www.ftc.gov/system/files/ftc_gov/pdf/pharmacy-benefit-managers-staff-report.pdf MFN: Most Favored Nation pricing is a policy that means a country agrees to offer the same trade concessions (like tariffs or price reductions) to all member nations of the World Trade Organization (WTO). When applied to pharmaceuticals, it could disrupt global access, deter innovation, and obscure the deeper systemic issues in American health care. https://petrieflom.law.harvard.edu/2025/05/22/the-global-risks-of-americas-most-favored-nation-drug-pricing-policy/Comment publication date: 6/23/25, 7:47 AMComment source: L E T T E R TO THE EDITOR
