Movies & More - "Tangled" & "Harry Potter"

This weekend, August 9 and 10, a huge Disney favorite will be shown on the big screen and the second installment of Harry Potter’s adventures.

Playing at 6 p.m. on both Friday and Saturday and sponsored by the generosity of the Central Nevada Health District, we have the 2010 animated romantic adventure “Tangled,” featuring the voice talent of Mandy Moore. Bring the littles to the theatre to enjoy all of Rapunzel’s big adventures. “Tangled” is rated PG with a runtime of 1 hour and 40 minutes.

“Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets” will be shown at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Join the excitement for the second year of adventures with Harry, Ron, and Hermione as they navigate the mysteries of Hogwarts. This film is rated PG and has a runtime of 2 hours and 41 minutes.

Looking ahead to the following weekend, several fun events are planned to celebrate the 10th Annual Community Reunion. On Friday, August 16, at 7 p.m., River Rogue will perform a free concert live on stage. Then, on Saturday, August 17, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the theatre will be open for hosted tours, followed by Community Karaoke from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Also, save the date for The Cantaloupe Canter, the Fallon Theatre’s annual summer fundraising 5K fun run/walk on August 24. Early registration and sponsorship forms are available on our website, fallontheatre.com, and more information is always available on our Facebook page.

His mother, father, Karen and Trent were neighbors of ours in Tonopah, Nevada. We moved to Fallon first and then the Kroll's later moved there also. Mother and Wanda were good friends. My brother Michael and Trent were playmates in Tonopah. Mother and my three little children visited the family at their ranch in Fallon. My condolences to Frank's family. May you be comforted to know that I care and I pray you will be comforted by your memories of Frank. Sincerely,Comment publication date: 4/30/26, 11:51 AMComment source: Frank Robert Kroll
