Cantaloupe Festival in Search of FFA Jackets to Display

The finishing touches are being put on this year’s Fallon Cantaloupe Festival and Country Fair, showcasing an exciting celebration of local agricultural heritage.

One of the featured attractions this year is the Agriculture Experience, an interactive exhibit designed to educate and inspire attendees about the importance of agriculture and the many opportunities it presents. This exhibit will also showcase the rich history of the National FFA Organization, formerly Future Farmers of America, in the community.

To enhance the experience, the search for owners of older National FFA Organization jackets that can be displayed at the festival is in full swing. These jackets would serve as a nostalgic reminder of the organization's legacy and a tangible connection to the agricultural roots that have shaped our community. Each coat will be carefully handled and respectfully displayed during the festival, with an acknowledgment to the owners expressing gratitude for the loan.

If you have an older FFA jacket you would like to have displayed at the Fallon Cantaloupe Festival and Country Fair Agriculture Experience Attraction, contact Aspen Johnson at [email protected].

Share your jackets with the community to help celebrate the spirit of the National FFA Organization and inspire the next generation of agricultural leaders!

We reached out to the writer/submitter and got this info back...hope it's helpful. PBM: Pharmacy Benefit Managers are pharmacies that are owned by insurance companies. (CVS is one.) They negotiate with drug makers to get reduced pricing for medications, but they historically have not passed along those savings to patients. https://www.ftc.gov/system/files/ftc_gov/pdf/pharmacy-benefit-managers-staff-report.pdf MFN: Most Favored Nation pricing is a policy that means a country agrees to offer the same trade concessions (like tariffs or price reductions) to all member nations of the World Trade Organization (WTO). When applied to pharmaceuticals, it could disrupt global access, deter innovation, and obscure the deeper systemic issues in American health care. https://petrieflom.law.harvard.edu/2025/05/22/the-global-risks-of-americas-most-favored-nation-drug-pricing-policy/Comment publication date: 6/23/25, 7:47 AMComment source: L E T T E R TO THE EDITOR
