Obituary - David Lee Jensen
David Jensen

David Lee Jensen was born on October 26, 1950, in Susanville, California, to George and Agnes Jensen.  At the age of 2, the family moved to Herlong, California, where David graduated high school in 1968, and began his career with the government as a meatcutter in 1971.

David grew up hunting and fishing with his dad.  As a young man, he was known as one of the best in Lassen County at those activities.  In his early adult years, he added bowling.

David and Wendy became a couple in December of 1980.  David always said that he fell in love with Jeremy first, and Wendy second.  Either way, they became a family.  In 2005, after 25 years together, they were married.

David was not a hugely emotional man, but he stood proudly with tears in his eyes as Jeremy graduated from high school, college, medical school, and as he married his beloved daughter-in-law Lindsay.   He was a good Papa to his grandchildren, and nothing made him happier than spending time with them.

David left this world on July 6, 2024, with his wife, son, and daughter-in-law by his side.

David was preceded in death by his mother and father, his sister Delores, and brother Larry Olsen.   He is survived by his wife, Wendy, his sister JoAnn, his son Jeremy Matuszak, daughter-in-law Lindsay, and his much-loved grandchildren London Sophia Matuszak and Harrison David Matuszak.

A celebration of David’s life will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at 11:30 am at Smith Family Funeral Home in Fallon with a reception to follow.

We reached out to the writer/submitter and got this info back...hope it's helpful. PBM: Pharmacy Benefit Managers are pharmacies that are owned by insurance companies. (CVS is one.) They negotiate with drug makers to get reduced pricing for medications, but they historically have not passed along those savings to patients. https://www.ftc.gov/system/files/ftc_gov/pdf/pharmacy-benefit-managers-staff-report.pdf MFN: Most Favored Nation pricing is a policy that means a country agrees to offer the same trade concessions (like tariffs or price reductions) to all member nations of the World Trade Organization (WTO). When applied to pharmaceuticals, it could disrupt global access, deter innovation, and obscure the deeper systemic issues in American health care. https://petrieflom.law.harvard.edu/2025/05/22/the-global-risks-of-americas-most-favored-nation-drug-pricing-policy/Comment publication date: 6/23/25, 7:47 AMComment source: L E T T E R TO THE EDITOR
