Cal Ripken 12U Allstar Team

Cal Ripken 12U Allstar Team
12U Cal Ripkin Allstar team.

Hello Fallon, meet your 12U Cal Ripken Allstar team: Damon Edgmon, Briar Kuntz, Mason White, Luke McCallum, Lelan White, Keason Craig, Brayden Bryant, Michael Doud, Jackson Macy, Bryce Timmons, Weston Starr, Carter Larson, Darius Fruzza, Jackson Frey, and Michael Lister. Head Coach Justin Judd, Assistant Coach Josh McCallum, and Pitching Coach Andrew Craig. Brayden Bryant and Damon Edgmon are not pictured.

This team has planned to attend the Cal Ripken 12U Tournament in Waikiki, Hawaii, since July 2023. They have been practicing three times a week and attending tournaments every other weekend, often traveling to the tournaments and playing on the visitor's side. Coach Judd has made it clear that he will take the Fallon, Nevada 12U team to Hawaii. The other Nevada All-Star teams have declined the invitation to attend, but not Fallon. These players and their dedicated parents have worked hard to accomplish the Hawaii tournament. Most of these kids have been playing baseball continuously for 12 months. Fall and winter baseball is not for the timid.

The Fallon Allstars (Hornets) started their 2024 Allstar season in Boise, Idaho. They let all the teams there know they were heading for bigger things—Hawaii in July. The tournament started on Saturday and went through Memorial Weekend, culminating on Monday.

Coaches, players, parents, and family members have all worked together to make this a dream come true for these kids. They have some great raffle prizes: a Bryant Mini Split AC/Heating unit electric and ductless valued at $4500 donated by Just In Time Heating and Air, a Yeti Cooler with baseball fan pack, 30 lb. meat bundles (2 each) donated by Momma’s Meats, a Glock Pistol 9mm 3rd generation, and a Smith and Wesson AR-15 rifle 5.56. Please contact any players or stop by the office at Just in Time Heating and Air on the Reno Highway and purchase your raffle tickets. The drawing is being held the last week of June.

We reached out to the writer/submitter and got this info back...hope it's helpful. PBM: Pharmacy Benefit Managers are pharmacies that are owned by insurance companies. (CVS is one.) They negotiate with drug makers to get reduced pricing for medications, but they historically have not passed along those savings to patients. https://www.ftc.gov/system/files/ftc_gov/pdf/pharmacy-benefit-managers-staff-report.pdf MFN: Most Favored Nation pricing is a policy that means a country agrees to offer the same trade concessions (like tariffs or price reductions) to all member nations of the World Trade Organization (WTO). When applied to pharmaceuticals, it could disrupt global access, deter innovation, and obscure the deeper systemic issues in American health care. https://petrieflom.law.harvard.edu/2025/05/22/the-global-risks-of-americas-most-favored-nation-drug-pricing-policy/Comment publication date: 6/23/25, 7:47 AMComment source: L E T T E R TO THE EDITOR
