It's official -- the Cantaloupe Festival queen and king have been chose to reign over all things cantaloupe at the Fallon Cantaloupe Festival & Country Fair this year. Andrea Carroll and her loyal dog Yogi will fill the most proper duties this year during the festival scheduled for Auguest 23rd through the 25th.
Fans know Yogi as Andrea's faithful side kick for years as she led her successful business, Kaia Fit. He has been with her through her studies for a real estate career, her marriage to Andrew, and the adoption of four more golden retrievers into the family.
The next appearance for the Cantaloupe Festival king and queen will be the 4th of July Parade, and the community picnic at the Fairgrounds.

Comment text: A little disappointed in the parade and fireworks. With it being America's 250th Birthday, there should have been some more history, as in pioneers walking behind wagons.....etc. And as for fireworks, should have been more spectacular, like seeing hearts, and smiling faces and an American flag all dine in fire works.
