Your Community-Owned and Operated Fallon Theatre

This weekend, May 17 and 18, the Fallon Theatre will show “Trolls Band Together” and “The Fast and the Furious, Tokyo Drift.” We will also host numerous private parties this week. If you are interested in renting the theatre for a party or event, please contact us at [email protected]. You can phone us at 775-423-6210 during office hours, 9 a.m. to noon, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, or leave a message.

We'd like to congratulate the Churchill County Middle School Greenwave Llamas on their excellent rendition of “Peter Pan.” On both evenings, the theatre had standing room only.

We'd also like to thank the Great Basin Band for playing for free on our historic stage. Their concert was excellent, combining oldies, classic rock, and a touch of country.

Showing Friday, May 17, and Saturday, May 18, at 6 p.m. is the movie “Trolls Band Together.” After two films of true friendship and relentless flirting, Poppy (Anna Kendrick) and Branch (Justin Timberlake) are now officially a couple. Poppy discovers that Branch was once part of the boy band BroZone with his brothers. Branch has not since his brothers since BroZone disbanded, along with the family. When Branch's brother, Floyd, is kidnapped for his musical talents by a pair of wicked pop-star villains, Branch and Poppy embark on a harrowing journey to reunite the brothers and rescue Floyd. Free admission.

Showing Friday, May 17, and Saturday, May 18, at 7 p.m. is “The Fast and the Furious, Toyko Drift.” An American teenager named Sean Boswell is a loner in school. However, he challenges his rival for illegal street racing and totals his car at the end of the race. To avoid time in prison, he is sent to Tokyo to live with his father, who is in the military. As soon as he arrives, he discovers a new, fun, but dangerous way of street racing known as drifting, where Sean gets involved in the underworld of street racing in Tokyo. Free admission.

They strung them along for years until they had no financial choice but to accept and get out. My Dad even hauled water for the Snow ranch trying to stay afloat. May God bless you all. I truly pray it works out for you.Comment publication date: 3/28/26, 9:22 PMComment source: Local Rancher Says Navy Land Expansion is Devastating His Family RanchComment author: Lynn JohnsonComment text: I remember your mother well; she was a lovely and kind woman. I see glimpses of your face in the years worn onto my dad. It makes me feel more connected to you in some way. I remember the familiar kindness from you that I know in my dad. I would’ve really liked to have a good conversation. I only have a handful of memories with you, but you were loving, and you were kind. I wish I was able to say more. If I am someone to you, I hope I make you proud. Thank you Aunt for this sweet post.Comment publication date: 3/27/26, 12:11 AMComment source: Obituary -- Randolph Floris Banovich C Comment author: RBCComment text: The Navy should reimburse the market cost of replacing the grazing land they are taking.
