Obituary - Shelly Jean Sells (Harris)

Shelly Jean Sells (Harris) passed away February 23, 2024, at the age of 58, in Fallon, Nevada. Shelly is a lifelong Nevadan, she was raised in Schurz, where she attended grade school and went to Mineral County High School. She completed Beauty School in Reno and became the stylist for the whole family.

She was a wonderful mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her big rambunctious family. She loved being outdoors, fishing, camping, riding motorcycles, lighthouses, the ocean, seashells, roosters, and family gatherings. Her family will miss her kindness, her quiet strength, her beautiful blue eyes, and her Irish stubbornness.

She loved all animals and especially her little dog Toby, as her kids would say he was 'the apple of her eye' and never left her side all the way to the end.

She was employed at NAS Fallon - with DBSI, as a tool/parts attendant. She enjoyed being part of the mission that supported the United States Military.

She is survived by her best friend and Father of her children, Lester Milton, Daughter Tawnie Milton Sells, Son Ryan Milton, Grandsons Riley Sells, Gavin and Treyton Milton. Sisters Marta Baldry (Brady), Diana Hanford (T.O.), Heather Pennington (Clay), and Johnnie Rae Stingerie. Nieces and Nephews, Tara Clark, Wade Baldry, Cierra Worring, Logan Meier, Ashley Picotte, Angela Moore, Tesla Diaz, Taylor McQueen, Thea McQueen and Tierra Lombardo, several Great Nieces and Nephews, her Aunt Donna Glazier and Uncle Ronnie Baxter.

She is proceeded in death by her Mother Marjorie Stingerie, Father Floyd Sells, Grandfather John Baxter, Brother Frank Sells, and Son Tommy Milton. We are comforted knowing they are all together again.

Her Celebration of Life and Burial is Saturday, March 2, 2024 at 11:00 a.m., The Gardens Funeral Home, 2949 Austin Hwy, Fallon, Nevada

Comment author: Claude EzzellComment text: Paul was one of the most manifest men I have ever met. He was a good friends with my Dad and always had an entertaining story for the occasion. One of my most favorite stories Paul told dated back to the late 60s or early 70s and it revolved around him killing a deer way out in the mountains. Naturally the deer ran down into a deep canyon and died. Knowing that it would take him forever to haul it out he devised an awesome plan. After preparing the deer he drove back to NAS Fallon and rustled up a SAR crew and they flew out and picked up the deer. Of course it was labeled as a training flight but what the hell in those days you could do that sort of thing. Rest in Peace my friend until we meet again!!Comment publication date: 4/11/24, 1:15 PMComment source: Obituary - LCDR Paul N PflimlinComment author: THughesComment text: So sad to hear.
