The Churchill County Arts Council (CAC) hosted its annual fundraising Ales for Arts event last Saturday, October 21, in the Lariat Courtyard. This year’s event included live music and specialty brews from Lead Dog Brewing, Revision Brewing Company, Mammoth Brewing, and Farmers Brewing Co. CAC volunteer bartenders Jo Petteruti and Cheryl Venturacci whipped up seasonal craft cocktails and mocktails, perfect for an October evening and supporting CAC as they prepare for their 2024 performance season. 2024 season.

Comment text: What about some improvements for the county cemetery. They could use some expansion, decent equipment and automated sprinkler system. Nothing has been done there in years and local residents and their deceased families deserve it! Upkeep has been great with the limited resources those caretakers have!
