Obituary - Frank Lee Overton

December 31, 1964, in Reno, NV to Donald and Barbara Overton. He passed away, after a courageous battle against cancer, on September 29, 2023, at his home, surrounded by his loved ones. 

He enjoyed growing up in the Fallon and Reno-Sparks area. He was a carpenter most of his life and retired from Carpenters Union Local 971 in 2020. He was foreman on the Galena Creek Bridge as well as numerous major jobs in and around the Reno area. In 1992, he was in Antarctica, working for the National Science Foundation, building a research building and more.

Those left to treasure his memory include his wife of 32 years, Dawn, son Ryan, daughter Brittny (Cole), his pride and joys, grandsons Wells and Cash, his father Donald (Danna), brother Kevin plus numerous family members.

He loved his family and cherished his friends.

The celebration of Frank's life will be held at Walton's Funeral Home, 1745 Sullivan Lane, Sparks, NV, on Saturday, November 11 from 12 to 4 p.m.
