On October 9, 2023, Heaven gained an angel, Linda Lea Jensen passed peacefully surrounded by her loved ones at the age of 75.
Linda was born in Fallon, Nevada on September 11, 1948, to parents C.R. “Mac” and Wanda McNair. Growing up she attended Churchill County schools, graduating in 1966. It was in middle school where Linda met her future high school sweetheart and love of her life, Dale Jensen. They married on June 24, 1967, in Fallon, making the family farm their life-long home where they raised their children, Camdon and Julie.
Linda enjoyed her country music and dancing. Most of all Linda cherished spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren with whom she shared her unconditional love and kindness. She loved cheering them on in all of the various sports they competed in and was so proud to share the successes and adventures of her five grandchildren with everyone.
She retired from the Churchill County School District after over 20 years of being a secretary.
Linda was a loving and devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She is preceded in death by her parents, Campbell and Wanda, and nephew Ernie McNair.
Linda is survived by her husband of 56 years, Dale Jensen; children Camdon (Monyca) Jensen and Julie Jensen; grandchildren Dalynne Rueda (Joshua Clark), Blain Jensen, Jase Kroll, Jayden Jensen and Gaven Jensen; her brother Bill (Andrea) McNair; niece Stacey McNair, all of Fallon. Also, her sister-in-law Londa Jensen of Wellington, brother and sister-in-law Mike & Linda Jensen of Elko and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, October 21, 2 p.m. at the Smith Family Funeral Home, 505 Rio Vista Drive, Fallon.
We will always carry her memory in our hearts, so dearly remembered and truly missed.
