Mayor Tedford extended his appreciation and gratitude at the City of Fallon's Annual 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony to former NASF Commanding Officer Jim Kendrick, who is now CEO of the San Diego Air and Space Museum. Kendrick has loaned the City of Fallon an exhibit, which honors 9/11 first responders. The exhibit features a car from the Port Authority of the New York and New Jersey Police Department damaged at Ground Zero on September 11, 2001. The City of Fallon is excited to host this exhibit in Fallon from 5 – 7 p.m., September 12 – 15 and September 18. Photo courtesy of The City of Fallon.

Comment text: Oh Freddy :( This really breaks my heart. I had so many amazing memories with this man when we were teens. He was always a good guy.

Comment text: Nancy was a dear friend of my auntie in Reno and she would come to visit and she would invite our whole family to visit them on their farm in Fallon. Such a life she had! Thank you Nancy for spreading light.

Comment text: What about some improvements for the county cemetery. They could use some expansion, decent equipment and automated sprinkler system. Nothing has been done there in years and local residents and their deceased families deserve it! Upkeep has been great with the limited resources those caretakers have!
