Obituary — Laurence Robert Jones
Laurence (Larry) Robert Jones passed away after a short illness, at his home in Fallon, on May 26, 2019 with his family by his side. Larry was born April 15, 1947 in New Jersey to John Jr. and Melva Jones.
Larry, with his wife, moved to Fallon after their retirement, from Michigan in 2004. He was a veteran of the Air Force. He was preceded in death by his parents and step-daughter, Shannon Vawter.
Larry is survived by his wife Bonnie Jones; daughter and son-in-law Marci and Lance Williams of Bulverde, Texas; son and daughter-in-law Robert and Kristin Jones of California; sister and brother-in-law, Mike and Jennie Mader of Fallon; two brothers, Jerry and Bill; 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; several nieces and one nephew.
A Celebration of Larry’s life with military honors will be held on Friday, May 31, 2019 at 1:00 PM at The Gardens Funeral Home.
