The monthly meeting of the Churchill County Democrats was held on August.
Plans were finalized for the annual summer picnic at Oat Park on August 19. They also recruited volunteers to work the Democratic booth at the Cantaloupe Festival and to participate in the Labor Day parade.
The Democrats meet on the second Thursday of the month at 6 p.m. at the library annex.
