Churchill Republicans Update

Churchill Republicans Update

The Churchill County Republicans Central Committee recently held its August meeting, which included two speakers.

Chair and Churchill County Manager James Barbee discussed the county’s 2023 flood mitigation projects, the upcoming county plans for the Rafter 3C Arena, and the Navy’s activities at the ranges.

Guest Speaker Sheriff Richard Hickox spoke about various programs in which the Churchill County Sheriff’s Office participates.

President Gary Smith appointed 2nd Vice Chair Lynne Hartung as the Chair Lincoln Day Dinner for 2024. The Chair will organize a committee for the event, which is planned for March 16, 2024.
The Secretary informed the committee there would be a test mailing to all the e-mail addresses of the committee members to ensure the list was accurate and up to date.

Leane Carey proposed to prepare a hand-out as to what the CCRCC is and what our goals are. An ad-hoc committee was suggested to bring ideas to the next meeting. Volunteers for this committee were Raymond Shulley as lead person, Leane Carey, Nick Moeser, and Robert Johnson to assist.

The Churchill County Republican Central Committee meets at noon on the second Wednesday of the month upstairs at The Depot.

Who and what they REALLY were. Because they were devotional and IMPORTANT to the humans they connected with. The content of their life bled so that others could feel their own life’s importance. Teachers of justifiable life and art. That all can absorb and use as the best fertilizer for THEIR lives. Giving the silent secrets and the loud guidance. The Melon Man was a perfect specimen for how to devote. His passing meant a life book of feeling/knowing what gives other humans their paths to Love and Knowledge. Some humans are meant to show others their paths. And in that they secrete ways to profitably exist.Comment publication date: 3/18/26, 4:50 PMComment source: In memorium -- The Melon Man
