Staff report --
Last week marked National Emergency Medical Services week as an official declaration by President Trump to "pay tribute to our Nation’s Emergency Medical Services (EMS) providers, whose selfless dedication and extraordinary efforts help save countless lives each day."
In Fallon and Churchill County, the EMS Department at Banner Community Hospital covers over 5,000 square miles with two Advance Life Support Ambulances on at all times. The department responds to over 4,000 calls a year and has the most modern and progressive protocols.
As the President stated in his declaration, "the first link to emergency medical care, EMS personnel are a critical component of our healthcare system. Day or night, faithful EMS first responders — many of whom are volunteers — intensively prepare for and stand at the ready to help their fellow Americans through chaotic and distressing situations."

Comment text: A little disappointed in the parade and fireworks. With it being America's 250th Birthday, there should have been some more history, as in pioneers walking behind wagons.....etc. And as for fireworks, should have been more spectacular, like seeing hearts, and smiling faces and an American flag all dine in fire works.
