The Churchill County Democrats held their regular monthly meeting on February 9. They held their election for officers to serve for the next two years. The newly-elected officers are Chair – Scott Tudehope; Vice-chair – Chuck Kaiser; Secretary – Jeanette Strong; Treasurer – Edith Isidoro-Mills; and Member at Large – Sharon Hedges-Hiller. They then heard a report from the Sawyer-Bryan Dinner committee. The dinner will be held on May 6. The Democrats meet on the second Thursday of the month at 6 p.m., at the library annex.
