Obituary -- Lela Mae Smith Vestey

Our beloved mother, Lela Mae Smith Vestey, passed away on January 22, 2023, after a short bout with cancer. She was 81.

She was preceded in death by her first husband Chester D. Smith and her second husband Lano Vestey. She had a wonderful, fulfilled life with each of them.

She is survived by her two daughters, Tansy and Bryan Perchetti, and Laurie and Bob Gilmore. She was lucky enough to have two stepchildren as well, Shane Vestey and Shawna Kontney. Multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren completed her life. There will be no services at this time.

Arrangements are under the direction of The Gardens Funeral Home.

Oh my Laurie,and all Lela's family. We are so very sorry to learn of your moms passing. She was a lovely woman. We enjoyed the chats we had, glad the peacocks are gone?and m8ss you and Bob? Our sympathies to you all.
