Don L. Major of Fallon lost his long battle with cancer on January 12, 2023, at the age of 70.
Don was born on July 14, 1952, in Doerun, Georgia. As a teen, he moved to Montana living in Troy and Anaconda where he raised his children. Don loved the Bible and his God, Jehovah. He dedicated his life as a Jehovah’s Witness in April 1972. He moved to Reno Nevada in later years and eventually settled in Fallon with his wife Rhonda, whom he married in September of 2010.
Don is survived by his wife, Rhonda Major, his three children, Tony Major, Darla Major (Larry Lakel), Corey Major (Tammie), stepchildren, Casey (Autumn) Fry, Justin (Chelsea) Abbott and Malia Seronio seven grandchildren, Devin, Ethan, Essie, Evan, Peyton, Brianna and Zach, two great-grandsons Trey and Caleb, his Siblings, Rosa Mae Warner, Elmer Gibson, Curtis Major, Morris Pittman and many nieces and nephews.
Don was preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa Major, his mother, Rosa Lee Pittman, his siblings, Charles Major, Wayne Pittman, and Sylvie Pittman-Williams.
A memorial service will be held on February 18, 2023, at 2:00 PST, Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1055 McLean Road, Fallon, NV 89406.
