Carmelita Ellsworth was born in August 1947 in Bato Leyte, Philippines. At age 77, she passed away on January 24, 2023, in Reno, NV.
She is survived by her husband, Jess Ellsworth, and her daughters, Alma Jocson and Nenita Martin in the Philippines, daughters, Violeta Bode in Michigan, and Raquel Sabado in San Diego.
She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law Betty Ramsey, Diana Haynes of Cheyenne, WY, Pearl Kolkman of Elko, NV, and brother-in-law Rodney Ellsworth of Fernley, NV.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 30th from 6-8 pm at Smith Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 31st at 11:30 am also at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Northern Nevada Veterans Cemetery in Fernley at 1:00 pm.
A reception will follow at 3:30 pm at 1011 McLean Road in Fallon.
