School District Reports Death of Beloved School Secretary
Sandra Trotter

Author: from Social Media

It is with great sadness that we report the death today of high school staff member Sandra Trotter. Police are investigating this death as a possible suicide. No students or other staff were involved in this incident in any way.

There will be counseling services available at the District Office tomorrow Friday, September 23rd from 8am until 1pm for students and staff who are in need of support. If you need immediate support, please call the 988 Crisis Lifeline number. They are available 24/7 over call/text/chat for free and confidential support. We are here for everyone at this really confusing and difficult time. Additional supports will be available as needed.

This has completely shook our ChurchillCSD community. Sandra was a valuable employee with the most infectious smile and uplifting spirit. She was extremely dedicated to the students and staff of the district and to the community. She will be missed by all of us and our thoughts and prayers are with her family.

She always greeted me with a smile throughout my hard years of high school. She was an amazing woman who no matter what did her best to help students even the most difficult like myself. Very upsetting to hear she’s passed. Ms. Trotter I hope that you will rest forever in heaven?️? you will never be forgotten

Absolutely at a loss. Sandra and my ex-wife Denise got to be very good friends working at the high school together. This is how I got to know Ben. I am an absolute loss for your family she was always so bubbly in a beat, what a wonderful woman I am so so sorry.

She was warm and welcoming in a place full of uncertainty and anxiety for us students... We will remember her actions of kindness when a lot of us were struggling. I hope that if there is a heaven, that she is in it. She definitely deserves it, as she was a heaven on earth.

She was a teacher of mine in the YSL program and touched many hearts including mine.. She had many young Hispanic ladies looking up to her and was a great role model. Thank you for everything Mrs. Trotter, you have taught me a a lot and have showed me to be proud of who I am.

They strung them along for years until they had no financial choice but to accept and get out. My Dad even hauled water for the Snow ranch trying to stay afloat. May God bless you all. I truly pray it works out for you.Comment publication date: 3/28/26, 9:22 PMComment source: Local Rancher Says Navy Land Expansion is Devastating His Family RanchComment author: Lynn JohnsonComment text: I remember your mother well; she was a lovely and kind woman. I see glimpses of your face in the years worn onto my dad. It makes me feel more connected to you in some way. I remember the familiar kindness from you that I know in my dad. I would’ve really liked to have a good conversation. I only have a handful of memories with you, but you were loving, and you were kind. I wish I was able to say more. If I am someone to you, I hope I make you proud.
