Horoscope Hideout

August 26 through September 1
Horoscope Hideout

Hey hey, astrological enthusiasts! Welcome to the week of Stars on some nonsense. Venus is squaring up with Uranus on Friday, and then in opposition of Saturn on Sunday.

Some flighty, grass is greener on the other side type distractions of the heart may be in the air, but be mindful of your true mission and commitments without the drama. Our Sun is square with Mars Friday night, which could bring some of its own interesting challenges. The New Moon occurs early Saturday as well.

Aries: Trust your instincts, and pick your battles. You’re not missing a thing, and all will be revealed in due time. Remember that plan you made? Stick to it.

Taurus: Your aura is magnetic this weekend, making it a fine time for social adventures and time with friends. The “New” has a certain appeal, just don’t lose your moral compass in the discovery.

Gemini: Feelings, whoaaaa feelings. Treading water or drowning in them, Gemini? Anxiety may try to get the best of you, but try and find some balance, and say some nice things to yourself in the process.

Cancer: Tired or emotionally drained doesn’t begin to cover it lately does it? A recharge may be in order, or perhaps a reorganization. Clear away the actual and metaphorical clutter.

Leo: There are many new and different ideas floating around your microcosm. Some are so crazy, they just might work. Use whichever one you’ve seen applied effectively, and fine-tune for yourself.

Virgo: You frustrate over wasted time, or counterproductive measures this week, especially in the work environment. Spend some time with the ones who provide a healthy distraction.

Libra: You are aware of your effect on people, and this week it would be wise to not take advantage. What’s fair and earned is not taking advantage!

Scorpio: Social callings abound, dear Scorpio, now you just have to pick the ones you’d really enjoy. You’re energetic and enthusiastic, so enjoy every moment fully this period.

Sagittarius: Are you struggling with the mile-long lists and unsaid expectations? Are there other options, maybe a plan C that is only just being revealed to you? Make a choice.

Capricorn: self-reflection is one thing, but don’t let it help you get on an even bigger high horse, friend. Be teachable, be open, and appreciate things for exactly what they are this week.

Aquarius: What has been comfortable in the past may no longer feel as welcoming. Maybe it’s you, maybe it’s them, but most likely a bit of both. Try to listen without comparison.

Pisces: Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to hear another’s pain and not let it become your own. Find a way to be supportive without absorbing so much.

He was a good friends with my Dad and always had an entertaining story for the occasion. One of my most favorite stories Paul told dated back to the late 60s or early 70s and it revolved around him killing a deer way out in the mountains. Naturally the deer ran down into a deep canyon and died. Knowing that it would take him forever to haul it out he devised an awesome plan. After preparing the deer he drove back to NAS Fallon and rustled up a SAR crew and they flew out and picked up the deer. Of course it was labeled as a training flight but what the hell in those days you could do that sort of thing. Rest in Peace my friend until we meet again!!Comment publication date: 4/11/24, 1:15 PMComment source: Obituary - LCDR Paul N Pflimlin
