Arby's is Opening on Monday
Management team: Principal Operator Jason Dunn, Area Coach Steven Mizer, and Store Manager Benjamin Oats

The Chamber of Commerce is rolling out the red carpet to welcome Arby's back to Fallon at its new location at the intersection of Reno Highway and Casey Road on Monday, June 13. The official ribbon cutting will take place at 9:30 a.m. with the store officially opening at 10:00 a.m.

The restaurant is being opened by Jason Dunn, Principal Operator and Arby's Vice President of Operations, Area Coach Steven Mizer, General Store Manager Benjamin Oats, and Assistant Store Manager Carolyn Newman.

Dunn said, “We're excited to be here in Fallon. It's been a two-and-a-half-year process to bring the franchise out here.” When asked if the store was at full capacity with regards to employees he replied, “When we open a new restaurant, we bring on a group of individuals to get ready, but then we continue to add throughout. The busier we are, the more jobs we can add to the local market.”

When describing their new menu, Dunn said, “We definitely have some menu changes since Arby's was here in town 13 years ago. Market fresh items, different products, new spices, Wagyu steakhouse burgers, and other new menu choices beyond roast beef.”  Oats describes their product line as a “cut above the rest.” The menu includes corned beef Reubens, Greek gyros, pecan chicken salad, slider varieties, mac and cheese and other side dishes, desserts, and specialty beverages such as orange cream shakes and lemonades. In addition to the daily menu items offered, the restaurant is also planning to offer catering services in the future.

Dunn said the restaurant is planning several giveaways on the first day and during their first week. “We'll give a free Arby's for a year, plus a couple of prize packages of Arby's swag on day one. Then there will be prize packs given away during the week, so every day that you come in and order something, you'll have a chance to win.”
