Logos Academy Announces New Headmaster

Jill Rosario has accepted the position of Headmaster at the Logos Christian Academy for the 2022-23 school year.

The Logos Board, in conjunction with current Headmaster Pam Duarte, made the announcement this week that Rosario will officially assume her new position at the Academy this summer. They are excited to have such an enthusiastic, organized, and compassionate leader at the helm for the next school year and are confident that she will continue to move the school forward in God’s plan. The staff, as well, are thrilled with this amazing answer to prayer.

Rosario has worked in education for the past 10 years, as well as homeschooling her own four children for nine years, utilizing the Classical Christian curriculum that we teach at Logos. She is currently teaching middle school math at Oasis Academy and holds a B.A. in Educational Studies Elementary Education from Western Governors University. Additionally, she serves in ministry alongside her husband Pastor Mike Rosario of Grace Bible Church. In that role, she has served in youth ministry, children's ministry, writing curriculum, small group ministries, and women's ministry.

The new headmaster believes that all children can learn to be life-long learners, utilizing student interest and real-world applications to boost engagement and understanding. She also believes that Christian education is a privilege and considers it to be increasingly important in the world we live in today.

Logos is holding Family Science Night this Friday evening from 6-7 p.m. and will be officially introducing Mrs. Rosario to the school community.

Comment author: Claude EzzellComment text: Paul was one of the most manifest men I have ever met. He was a good friends with my Dad and always had an entertaining story for the occasion. One of my most favorite stories Paul told dated back to the late 60s or early 70s and it revolved around him killing a deer way out in the mountains. Naturally the deer ran down into a deep canyon and died. Knowing that it would take him forever to haul it out he devised an awesome plan. After preparing the deer he drove back to NAS Fallon and rustled up a SAR crew and they flew out and picked up the deer. Of course it was labeled as a training flight but what the hell in those days you could do that sort of thing. Rest in Peace my friend until we meet again!!Comment publication date: 4/11/24, 1:15 PMComment source: Obituary - LCDR Paul N PflimlinComment author: THughesComment text: So sad to hear.
